ASCAT 2026 Registration & Fees

In order for the conference to comply with the ABPI code, we require each attendee to self-assess their HCP status during registration.

The ABPI Code defines ‘healthcare professional’ (HCPs) as any member of the medical, dental, pharmacy or nursing profession and any other person who in the course of their professional activities may administer, prescribe, purchase, recommend or supply a medicine. ‘Other relevant decision maker’ (ORDMs) particularly includes someone in a role who could in any way influence the administration, consumption, prescription, purchase, recommendation, sale, supply or use of any medicine but who is not a health professional.

Under the ABPI Code of Practice, the definition of a Healthcare Professional has been clarified and broadened over time to reflect modern healthcare delivery. While the Code does not always list ‘clinical scientists’ explicitly by job title, it does include them in scope where they meet the functional criteria.

In practice, clinical scientists are considered ORDMs under the ABPI Code if, in the course of their professional activities, they can influence the prescribing, supply, recommendation, administration, or use of medicines, or are involved in diagnosis, testing, or treatment decisions that affect patient care.

Medical students may be classified as ORDMs if they are attending the meeting as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

Please note that  non–healthcare professionals (non-HCPs) may not be permitted to access certain posters and industry sessions  in accordance with compliance regulations.

ASCAT Registration Fees

Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa and Mastercard. All payments made must be in Great British Pounds Sterling (GBP £). All payments are inclusive of VAT (the current prevailing rate applies). Early bird will finish at 23:59 GMT on 5th August 2026. Regular rate applies to registrations from 6th August – 16th September 2026. Late rate applies to registrations from 17th September 2026 until the conference.

Low – Middle Income Countries – Registration Support

We are happy to offer support to delegates from low-income and lower middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank where possible (see eligible countries). You can apply for a discount code by submitting an application through this form.

Please note that LMIC codes are only applicable to full conference registrations and also will not apply to students, nurses or patient registrations. These registration types are already heavily subsidised and no further discount can therefor be offered.

The submission deadline for an LMIC discount code is 25 May 2026.

Terms and Conditions:

Payment Policy:
Payment can only be accepted by Visa or Mastercard.

Should you require payment by bank transfer an additional administration fee of £30 inc. VAT will be charged.

Payments are made payable ONLY to Conference Partners. Payment must be received by Conference Partners within two weeks of receipt of your invoice. If payment is NOT received within two weeks of receiving invoice, you may be subject to additional charges. Please include your name and ID number on the banking reference when paying via bank transfer.

Registration Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations are subject to a £30 inc. VAT administrative fee

• If cancelled before 5th August – 100% of the Conference fee is refundable
• If cancelled from 6th August to 31st August – 50% of the registration fee is refundable.
• No refunds are payable from 1st September onwards

Please note: If you pre-register and do not attend the conference you will be charged your participation fee and will be required to settle any outstanding balances.

Changes, substitutions and cancellations of registration:
Substitutions/replacements can be made at any time and are subject to a £30 inc VAT administrative fee.

Notification of changes or cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the ASCAT 2026 Delegate Services Team at ascat@conferencepartners.com

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All cancellations are subject to a £30 inc. VAT administrative fee.
All applicable refunds will be made after the conference.
Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.

Cancellation of the Conference:
In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organisers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

Photography, Audio Recording and Video Recording:
Photography, audio recording and video recording will be taking place at the conference. The release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of this content will be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the conference, its sponsors/exhibitors and its affiliates and representatives. Please notify us if you wish to be removed from any such materials by emailing ascat@conferencepartners.com

Code of Conduct:
This Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of delegates in any form. Inappropriate language and imagery are not acceptable to be included in presentations, workshops, networking forums and other online media. Conference delegates violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
